Restricting Hot keys for a specific application

Postby m021478 » Fri Mar 10, 2006 1:29 pm

I can't figure out how to restrict QuicKeys hot keys for a single specified application. I know that you can simply change the scope of a shortcut so that it only works for a specific application, but how can you do it so that it works in all applications except for a single specified app? Thanks!

if you want all Universal triggers to not work in a particular application you would use the Excluded Applications found under the Window menu. If you want to just not use a couple of triggers in a particular application you could create a Type Keystroke with the trigger and keystroke to type both the same as the one in the Universal that you don't want.
