mount servers problem with Mojave

mount servers problem with Mojave

Postby albertf » Mon Jul 22, 2019 1:49 pm

Hello, I have a MacMini running Mojave that routinely mounted a second MacMini here at work using the "Servers" option in "Internet and Network" shortcut menu. My Mac has been running Mojave for some time with no probelm, but I upgraded the second Mac to Mojave yesterday, and now I get an error "The share does not exist on the server. Please check the share name, and then try again." If I manually mount with IP address (without QK), there is no problem. This is rather strange since second Mac doesn't have QK on it, and QK did this fine on my Mac before upgrading second Mac to Mojave. What am I missing or need to fix? Thanks

So it sounds like something changed on the machine you upgraded to Mojave. I would try and create a new shortcut and see if that works.
