How to stop a LOOP shortcut at a specific time of day.

Postby jman995x » Fri Jun 21, 2013 1:48 pm

Say I have a LOOP shortcut that I run 100 times (and this goes on for a couple of hours), but that I want the loop shortcut to be interrupted and the computer put to sleep at a certain time (no matter what stage the loop shortcut is at).
The most logical thing that I can think of off the top of my head is to make the loop and then make one final step after the END LOOP step that is some sort of IF/THEN statement.....like, "If time = 11pm, Then Put Computer to Sleep...If time < 11pm, Then continue shortcut."

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks,

J.

you would put a Check for Date & Time with Only check time checked right before the End repeat loop. Step Results On Step Failure would be Jump to Next Step and On Step Success would be to jump to were you have the routine to put the computer to sleep.
