Palette Close

Please allow closing palettes. You appear to have options for that, but they don't appear to actually work. Additionally, it would be best if there's no differentiation to the user between closing palettes and closing windows; this allows both to be closed with the same key combination. Thanks.

what palettes are you trying to close? What program are you using, version of QuicKeys and version of the OS?

It's QuicKeys X3 3.2 on OS 10.5.1 (Leopard).

Oh, and it's every palette I've tried. Some are the Characters palette (from many applications) and the Fonts and Colors palettes in TextEdit and Pages (for example).

I don't think QuicKeys will be able to do anything with those palettes. They are suppose to float above all other windows so that you accidentally close them. That is why they have their own hot key combination to close and open them. For example the Color palette is opened and closed with Command-Shift-C in all programs that follow Apple guidelines. If you click on the Title bar of one of these palettes it becomes focused and you can then use Command-W to close it. You could setup your own combination of hot keys that might be easier to remember using a Type Keystroke shortcut.
