Current Variable Value Display

Current Variable Value Display

It would be great to have the option of displaying the current value of a variable on a floating tab (much like the toolbar).

I use QuicKeys to script an unscriptable film production app. An on-screen display of a variable that I set and then increment with each use (take number) makes it possible to control the workflow between several applications, share the current value from QK scripts, and be able to see the next value that will be used without having to flip between applications.

if you didn't need to see the value of a variable all the time you could use a Display Variable step and trigger it when you wanted to see the value or there is the Variables window that you use to setup the variables. It floats so that you can see your variables when debugging but you could use it for this also.
