*Notes* field

*Notes* field

Postby Syncopator » Mon Dec 15, 2008 2:46 pm

I have many shortcuts, and sometimes I look back at one I haven't used for a while and think -- why did I have to create that shortcut? It's not always obvious, because sometimes I have to create temporary shortcuts to deal with a short-term situations, etc.

Feature request: it would be great to be have a Notes field for each shortcut (and for each step of a sequence), where we could jot down reminders to ourselves. Examples:

"This shortcut compensates for the inconsistent behavior of shortcuts in Leopard's Services menu."
"This is a workaround for that new bug in iWeb 2.1. Will be obsolete when bug is fixed."
"This step in the sequence ensures the proper menu is selected, since "Starts with..." wouldn't work, for some reason."

You get the idea. Would love to be able to add notes, like this....

Thanks.

already in our feature request database. Currently you can use a Message step that is disable to put whatever you want into the shortcut.
