Office 2007

Office 2007

Postby ldrabbit » Tue Feb 10, 2009 10:14 pm

I've found it impossible to get shortcuts to work with Office 2007. I'm using QuicKeys 3.0.3.
One or two shortcuts work, but all of the others I've created don't.
Any solutions out there?

I don't have Office 2007, but I have had good luck with Microsoft applications menus by using the F10 key to call up menus, then sending keystrokes. File Save As... would be F10, F, A.

Good luck.

not sure if Office 2007 is the first version that uses the new Ribbon menus or not but that was the problem. The Ribbon was minimized so the old way wasn't working.

Here is an example for: Align Text Right which would be Alt-H to go to the Home menu then typing "ar" for align right:

1) Type Keystroke of control-F1 to unminimize the ribbon
2) Type Keystroke of Alt-H
3) Type Text of "ar"
4) Type Keystroke of control-F1 to minimize the ribbon
