Ctrl-X and Ctril-V hang ups

Ctrl-X and Ctril-V hang ups

Postby JackTax » Sat Nov 19, 2011 11:37 am

To the Group:

I have a problem since moving to Windows 7 64 bit. From reviewing this forum, I know there are issues with 64 bit. But, perhaps someone has a work around.

The phenomenon is at step three in a routine whereby I cut highlighted text from a word processor via the ctrl-X command (I cut it so that I can move it to another program with ctrl-V), QuicKeys for Windows will not execute the ctrl-x function to cut the text. That was not an issue before moving to Windows 7 64 bit. I cannot figure out any other work around for the problem. And, based on another routine, I find the same problem with the ctrl-V function where it will not work either.

Has anyone experienced this phenomenon and knows of (i) a fix or (2) a workaround?

QuicKeys for Windows is only compatible with Windows XP and is not supported under any version of Windows 7. You can look at posts that are at the end of this post Windows 7 Upgrade that might help.
