skip x number of steps

skip x number of steps

I encounter this a LOT in my sequences, especially now with conditionals. Im not advocating eliminating the absolute references to step numbers, just adding relative references (such as "skip 2 steps", or "skip 5 steps") or correcting the current behavior when inserting steps.

Example: If you were on step 7 and wanted to skip to step 9, its a piece of cake to set up. However, if you later add a step or more before 7, the skip to step 9 does not change. Basically, if you added 3 steps before step 7, it would become step 10. At the end of step 10, the sequence will still jump to step 9. Problematic...

If the relative idea doesn't work, here is an alternate suggestion. In a sequence containing "jump to step number x," anytime a step or steps are inserted BEFORE that number x, then the "jump to" should be incremented accordingly. If a step is inserted AFTER, it would not effect the jump at all. I haven't found a situation where this would not be beneficial as the default behavior.
