Docktopus and OS X 10.10

Postby BFH » Mon Dec 22, 2014 6:16 pm

Hello,

Any information on how to use Docktopus with OS X 10.10?

When I launch Docktopus, an alert displays indicating to turn on Assistive Devices.

Assistive Devices have been replaced by the Accessibility item in the Security and Privacy System Preference.

Many thanks in advance.

Docktopus is only supported up to 10.6.x Snow Leopard. Only thing I can suggest is do what the alert suggests and add it to the Accessibility pane in Security & Privacy.

Thank you very much for replying.

FYI…Docktopus already was in the Privacy pane of Security & Privacy System Preference, and when I launched it previously, an alert displayed indicating that it needed to be added to Accessibility (which does not exist in OS X 10.10).

So I followed your advice below by removing Docktopus from the Privacy pane and added it back.

Voila, Docktopus now launches and functions properly!
